Is it time to panic for Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and the rest of the seniors who are graduating? Maybe, but there is a plan in place...

Fox boss Kevin Reilly announced today that the "Glee" spinoff that had been planned for Michele, Monteith and Chris Colfer is not going to happen. "We are graduating the characters that are arcing to graduation. There will not be a spinoff," he revealed.
Before you all start typing angry fan letters, rest assured that Ryan Murphy does have a plan in place for those characters that might bring them back next season. Reilly called it a "really cool idea," and that was all he said about it.
Elaborating further, the Fox boss confirmed that Lea Michele will be back next season. Rachel fans, rejoice!

A lot of fans have already theorized that graduating New Direction folks would come back as teachers next season. Or is Ryan Murphy following Kurt and Rachel to New York (if they in fact move there?) Lots of questions that still need answering, we know, but in the meantime, you can find comfort in the fact that Murphy and Co. have plans to keep your favorite "Glee" characters around.
